Sports medicine is a sub-specialty of orthopaedics, and The Orthopaedic Clinic has been providing sports medicine care to local high school teams for over 45 years. Our comprehensive sports medicine program includes diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services. Our Sports Medicine team provides the most up-to-date and innovative care, including arthroscopic shoulder, knee and hip surgery surgery, minimally invasive ligament reconstruction, and cartilage restoration and preservation procedures to keep injured athletes in the game. Our board-certified orthopaedic surgeons are on call to provide the latest diagnostic, surgical and non-surgical treatments for patients whether you are an elite athlete or a weekend warrior. We proudly are the official sports medicine providers for Auburn High School, Opelika High School, and Lee Scott Academy, along with nine other local schools, city programs, and semi-professional athletic teams.
