Dr. Wilson has a special interest in treating sports and athletic related injuries in high-level athletes as well as weekend warriors. His specialized training in sports medicine at the Taos orthopedic Institute provided him with the skill set necessary to provide cutting edge sports medicine treatment. He uses the most current techniques in sports medicine including all inside ACL reconstruction, advanced shoulder arthroscopy for rotator cuff repair and instability, Tommy John elbow reconstruction and ulnar collateral ligament repair with internal bracing. He also believes in the power of biological healing and provides non-surgical musculoskeletal treatments, such as platelet rich plasma (PRP) injections. While he takes care of a wide variety of patient types and enjoys seeing all comers, his primary interest is in specialized shoulder and knee surgical treatments. If injuries get too far gone and joint degeneration and arthritis become problematic, Dr. Wilson also has experience and interest in shoulder replacement, partial and total knee replacement and hip replacement through both the anterior and posterior approach.
Dr. Wilson and his wife, Mallory, reside in Auburn and have three children attending Auburn City Schools. Dr. Wilson grew up in Auburn and was a 1999 graduate of Auburn High School.
