Education: Dr. Thomas graduated from Adrian College in Adrian, Michigan with a BS in Biology. He then attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco, Calif.

Training: Dr. Thomas completed his foot and ankle surgery residency at Lakeview Hospital(St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center) in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He then served as a captain in the U.S.A.F in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Keesler Regional Medical Center, Biloxi Mississippi. Prior to starting at The Orthopaedic Clinic he practiced in academic medicine holding the positions of Associate Professor in the Division of Orthopaedics at the University of Alabama Birmingham, and subsequently in the Departments of Orthopaedic Surgery at West Virginia University and the University of Florida.
